Fr. Angelos Bishara Biography

Father Angelos Bishara is an ordained Coptic Orthodox priest serving at the Church of Archangel Raphael and St. John the Beloved in Chapel Hill, NC, since 2012.

 

Father Angelos Bishara was born in Egypt in 1964. He graduated in 1987 from Cairo university school of medicine. Immigrated to USA 1992. Worked as an internist from 1992-2001. He was ordained on 20 January 2001 and has served in St Mark's Boston till 2012.

Father Angelos is a faculty member at St. Paul Theological Seminary, St. Athanasius Seminary of the Diocese of the Southern United States and Holy Sophia University, Coptic School of Theology.

Father Angelos is currently teaching OT (4 courses) in St. Athanasius Seminary of the Diocese of the Southern United States in Titusville, Florida for more than 15 years the same 4 courses are being taught in Nashville, Tennessee.

 

Teaching OT (2 courses) in Holy Sophia University, Coptic School of Theology for more than 5 years. Also is teaching Church Canons (2 courses in Arabic) in Nashville, Tennessee for more than 7 years. And He also taught NT courses in Arabic in Nashville.
